Five-Minute Favour

Each person does one small act of help a day that takes five minutes or less — an introduction, a quick review, a shared template.

Why it matters

Trust is built through frequent small deposits, not rare grand gestures. Visible generosity tends to spread across a team as others reciprocate.

How to run it

  1. Look for one small way to help someone each day.
  2. Keep it under five minutes: an intro, a draft read, a useful link, flagging an opportunity.
  3. Create an ask channel where people can request quick favours.
  4. Notice the reciprocity building over weeks.

Watch out for

  • Only helping people who can help you back
